The 4-post is better suited for larger dies or operations requiring side access to die such as material feed. M4PS heavy-duty presses can feature a larger die area, which allows for simpler integration of auxiliary equipment. They are well suited to jobs requiring superior rigidity and bed to platen parallelism and feature a full-size precision guided moving slide (platen). M4PS series presses feature 1045 hardened precision ground guide pin shafting and oversized self-lubricated slide bushings that are honed for precision clearance.
